Since childhood, I have been drawn to observing the quiet nuances of the world around me, including gestures, textures, and moments that often go unnoticed. My work is rooted in realism, not as imitation, but as a way of honoring the emotional and aesthetic depth embedded in everyday life.
Across my practice, I work in painting, drawing, and mixed media, continually expanding my understanding of material and form. Each medium offers a different language for exploring presence, memory, and feeling. Rather than separating technique from emotion, I see them as intertwined, where process becomes part of meaning.
My work reflects a search for visual truth shaped by lived experience. Emotion is not an afterthought but an active force within each piece, informing composition, color, and gesture. In this way, the artwork becomes a record of both observation and interior experience, where what is seen and what is felt exist in the same space.
